Fellows of the CBS
The Canadian Biomaterials Society (CBS) represents Canada in the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (IUS-BSE).
Two members of CBS represent the society to annual IUS-BSE meetings.
The other societies represented at IUS-BSE are:
- The Society for Biomaterials (U.S.)
- The European Society for Biomaterials
- The Japanese Society for Biomaterials
- The Australasian Society for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (ASBTE)
- The Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM)
- The Korean Society for Biomaterials
- The Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs India
- Latin American Society for Biomaterials and Artificial Organs (SLABO)
- Chinese Taipei Society for Biomaterials and Controlled Release
Fellows Recognition.
The IUS-BSE honors outstanding professional standing and significant achievements in the field of biomaterials science and engineering by awarding selected members the distinguished status of Fellow.
The International College of Fellows of Biomaterials Science and Engineering (ICF-BSE) is responsible for conferring the title of Fellow of Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSE) upon these recipients.
